UnitCargo is an international logistics company founded in 2004, specialized in the Scandinavian and Balkan market. Over the years, UnitCargo has successfully expanded across Europe and concurrently operates out of its headquarter in Vienna, Austria. In addition to the headquarters in Vienna, the company has branches in Poland, Slovakia, Servia, Bulgaria and Romania

Since the very beginning of my experience in the logistics business, I always wanted to run a company that is contributing significantly to creating a better logistics world. We as UnitCargo are focused on sustainability, embracing technology and enhancing the collaborations between all stakeholders. Continuously investing in training and education is one of our top priorities, as the talents behind all our work are our most valuable asset.

UnitCargo Founding
UnitCargo’s success story stems from a humble beginning back in 2004 where the business steadily expanded in area, mindset and strategy. Already back then focusing on Balkan to Germany routes, UnitCargo soon expanded to connect to Scandinavia and innovate with its diverse team and skillset.
2006 & 2011
Slovakia & Bulgaria
UnitCargo is proud to acknowledge that key to its success has always been its team of employees which have brought diverse language skills to the operation and the expansion into Slovakia 2006, and Bulgaria in 2011, were a natural reflection of that.
2012
ISO 9001:2015 Certification
With consistent quality assurance and pristine reliability in mind, UnitCargo Vienna received its first of many ISO certifications in 2012; further committing to the highest of professional standards and building on a record of excellence and precision.
2014-2018
Romania, Poland & Serbia
UnitCargo prides itself on the fact that the key to its success has always been its team of employees, who bring a wide range of language skills to the business. The expansion into Slovakia in 2006 and Bulgaria in 2011 was a natural consequence of this.
In 2018, UnitCargo Vienna received another certificate: ISO 14001:2015.
2019
Austria Control Tower
To continue overseeing our growth and quality effectively we opened up the Austria “control tower” in 2019, to ensure a standard of perfection across all of our branch offices
2021-2022
Intermodal & Procurement
We are continuing to work on the improvement and sustainability of our service: in 2021, we are establishing our own procurement department and ISO 9001:2015 certification now applies to all our branches. UnitCargo Vienna becomes ISO 45001:2018 certified in the same year. We start developing intermodal transport solutions in 2022.
