UnitCargo Austria - Head Office
UnitCargo’s headquarters is located in Austria’s capital city – Vienna. Situated near one of Vienna’s major tourist attractions – the Schönbrunn palace, the Austrian office is regarded as the Control Tower – responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of the branch offices. While all the operational units are concentrated in the branch offices, the headquarters is home to multiple departments – Finance and Risk management, Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate Sales and Key Accounts, as well as Quality Management. Such structure has been designed to provide businesses with a comprehensive and centralized platform for managing their logistics operations. It helps in improving visibility, efficiency, and collaboration across the entire supply chain, leading to cost savings and better customer satisfaction. Furthermore, UnitCargo Austria is the contract partner for all the stakeholders.

UnitCargo Office Serbia
UnitCargo Serbia was established on 02.05.2018 and has been has been co-ordinating exports and imports for all of the West Balkan countries (Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina). That was the original intention of setting up the branch and remains its key role today. Being in the heart of UnitCargo corridor help us to gain new customers and hauliers, allowing us to expand our network and create deeper relationship with them. Out main objective is to connect our flows with our own capacities between Scandinavia as well as Continent-Benelux, Germany and CEE to Balkan and back.
Our new project and indeed one for all of the UnitCargo offices is that of Intermodal Transport. Though direct truck transport has advantages in terms of simplicity, speed and reliability, intermodal transport brings a new dimension to logistics with its ability to reduce the carbon footprint of the supply chain.

UnitCargo Office Romania
UnitCargo Romania was established in 2014 and has experienced steady growth during a time of many challenges. We like to say that we have faced them all from the Covid 19 crisis to the war in Ukraine close to our border and the resulting fuel price increases, which have a strong impact on all transport costs. Our plan now is to grow our market share rapidly and follow the model which has been successfully established in Bulgaria which is to open a warehouse and substantially increasing the number of employees with the opening of a second office. This will bring us closer to both our customers and suppliers and so enable us, with our positive attitude, play a bigger role in the Romanian market, balancing export and import operations within our main corridor. Certainly, within the UnitCargo transport corridor, extending as it does from Scandinavia to the Balkans, Romania is a key element.

UnitCargo Bulgaria was established in 2011 and was since the very beginning focused on developing a professional and reliable transport service from Bulgaria and Greece to Western Europe and vice versa. Since 2019, UnitCargo Bulgaria operates from the heart of Sofia, in addition to a warehouse with six ramps as well an external warehouse for out of gauge goods. Through the years, we increased investments not only in developing our FTL service to Central Europe, Germany, BENELUX and France, but also in developing a professional groupage service for LTL and distribution in Bulgaria and Greece. During the past 13 years, UnitCargo went through many changes that were dictated by the market development, and it made us continuously work on improving the skills of our team. UnitCargo Slovakia is the oldest branch office. It has been established in 2006 in Nove Zamky – a town located about 100 km from Bratislava and near the Hungarian border. Our office started with 2 employees, and has grown over the years to 20 employees, together with the accounting department. As a team, we have many years of experience and have valuable knowledge in the field of logistics and beyond. We overcame together many challenges that only made us stronger – for example the 2008 economic crisis, Russia-Ukraine war, inflation and Covid-19. The latter inspired us to take an innovative path and we started practicing more online meetings with all of our business partners and thus strengthening our relationships. Our main strategies are further developing LTL and groupage transports in Slovakia and our lanes, expanding our pool of contracted trucks and maintain our status as a strong and stable partner for our customers.
